Chip'yong-ni ideas

A couple of niggles. With the limited mines now emplace I think each road leading into town would be mined. Also there should not be mines in the frozen pond hex.
I read some accounts where defenses where added during the battle. How about a few construction engineers and mine layers? Just an idea. 
I am not so sure about this? When the first version was played the UN had indirect fire. 
Also I have had artillery surrounded and it still fires. Are you sure about this rule? I cannot find it in the game manual at all. From what I read as long as you can trace supply to an HQ you can be in supply. I see nothing about being able to trace supply off board.
I despise scenarios needing house rules to make them work. What about a supply depot unit like that is in EF2?
